Sesame Street Sunday

For Christmas, my wonderful parents, aunt, and sister gave all three of us FRONT ROW seats and pre-party photo passes to Sesame Street Live! We've been waiting for months for today to come.
Yup, Clay and I are officially dorks. We've now been to more Sesame Street shows than concerts this year. We've got to change that. But for real, it was SO much fun to see Will get so excited to meet Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Super Grover (that one's for you, Grandaddy), and Elmo!

Except when it came to actually meeting Elmo, Will wanted NOTHING to do with sitting on this red monster's lap. This was as close as we got :-)
 He's warming up...

Look how close we were to the stage! Amazing!
A few shots of the super hero action:
Yes, friends, that's the Big Cheese up there on the screen.
This might be my favorite picture of the entire day:
my sweet husband enjoying the show himself. Love him.

And this is Will once he realized the show was over and the characters weren't coming back...
He was SO sad to say goodbye to his buddies.
And in other news, our little guy is potty trained!
We did a lot of this over Spring Break:
Will's new favorite thing is to stack all of his books (ALL of them) on his floor. Every morning, we walk into his room only to find all of his books neatly stacked on the floor.

Happy Sunday Funday!

aww that crying face...so sad! Looks like you all had a lot of fun though. that is AWESOME that Will is potty trained. I'm totally jealous. Harper doesn't really care about the potty :/ And I thought girls were supposed to be easy! We've done the whole going bottomless thing and it doesn't seem to phase her if she goes in her bed/on the floor/ on the couch...whatever. ha. My next step is total bribery...I'm going to wrap up little gifts and leave them out and maybe she'll want to open them so bad that she'll actually go :) Anyways, love reading your blog and keeping up with your family. Miss our afternoon walks!

Miss you so much too, Savannah! Thanks for writing! And don't you worry: when Harper's ready, she'll be potty trained before you know it!
