There's something about Mary. She just knows how to make people feel loved and valued. She's a thoughtful one, that Mary, and a generous one and a crafty one and a skilled one...and this same Mary made my day today when I received an amazing care package from her in our mail room! Holla! I opened it up in front of all my jealous colleagues and there was a collective gasp when I held up the item on top: the adorable hat that Will is wearing above. Yup, she made it. and its PERFECT. I am officially in love with it. I don't care that it is currently 80 degrees up here--Will is wearing it for at least 5 minutes every single day because it is the cutest thing ever. And then I reached down into the package and found these:
Yup, two vacuum sealed bags of homemade granola.
Mary, bless you.
This and the fact that my husband brought me Chipotle today on his way back from Maine make my tummy officially the happiest in New England.

Too cute! Glad it all made it there before you left. Clearly I need to work on the height of my toddler hats. I'll get on it before the Blizzard of 2012 hits NYC. Enjoy the final few days. Enjoy the new camera (love the berry shots!!). Sending you lots of love!
